20.タージマハル／インド
今日、ゆーがと旅するところは、インドのタージマハル です～
（1983年世界遺産登録）
タージ・マハルは、今から400年前のインドを支配していた、
ムガル帝国第5代皇帝シャー・ジャハーンの
妃ムムターズ・マハルの墓廟です。
白大理石の廟は、インド・イスラム文化の代表的な建築物で、
第14子を生んですぐにお亡くなりになられた、
愛する妃に捧げた霊廟で、なんと完成まで22年もかかったとか。
皇帝シャー・ジャハーンは、タージ・マハルの対岸に、
黒大理石の自分の廟を造るつもりだったのですが、
願い叶わず、三男に幽閉され、その窓からタージ・マハルを眺めつつ、一生を終えたといいます。
ですが、今二人の棺は、並んで地下に安置されています！

"Today, the place that you will be traveling to with Yuga is the Taj Mahal in India, which was registered as a World Heritage site in 1983.
The Taj Mahal is the mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal,
the wife of Shah Jahan, the fifth emperor of the Mughal Empire, who ruled India 400 years ago.
This white marble mausoleum is a representative architectural masterpiece of Indian Islamic culture.
It was dedicated to the beloved wife who passed away shortly after giving birth to their 14th child.
Surprisingly, it took 22 years to complete.
Emperor Shah Jahan had intended to build his own mausoleum made of black marble on the opposite bank of the Taj Mahal.
However, his wish was not fulfilled, and he was imprisoned by his third son.
It is said that he spent the rest of his life gazing at the Taj Mahal from that window.
Fortunately, now their two coffins are placed side by side underground!
