スペイン北東部に位置するバルセロナには、天才建築家アントニオ・ガウディが設計した傑作建築が6件あり、
その中には、皆さんおなじみの、サクラダファミリア、グエル公園、グエル邸、カサミラなどを見ることができます！
サクラダファミリアは、未完の教会で、1882年の着工から141年たった今でも未完のまま、いわばロマンの建築物です。
カサミラの波のような曲線は地中海をイメージしたといわれ、今もアパートとして機能しています。1984年に世界遺産に登録されました。グエル公園は、自然との調和を図った未来型の分譲住宅として設計されたものの、ガウディ本人と依頼したグエル伯爵しか購入希望者がいなかったということで、結局市に寄贈されて公園となったそうです！町を一望できる絶景スポットです♪
”美食の街”として知られるバルセロナで、カタルーニャ独特の“ソーセージブティファラ” やネギ焼きの ”カルソッツ” を食べてみよう！

Located in the northeastern part of Spain, Barcelona boasts six masterful architectural works designed by the genius architect Antoni Gaudí. Among them, you can see well-known landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Güell House, and Casa Milà! The Sagrada Familia is an unfinished church, which has remained incomplete since its construction began in 1882. It can be considered a symbol of romance. The undulating curves of Casa Milà are said to be inspired by the waves of the Mediterranean, and it still functions as an apartment building. It was registered as a World Heritage site in 1984. Park Güell was originally designed as a futuristic housing estate that aimed to harmonize with nature, but only Gaudí himself and the patron Guell Count were interested in purchasing properties there. In the end, the park was donated to the city and became a public park. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. In Barcelona, known as the "city of gastronomy," let's try the Catalonian specialties "Botifarra" sausages and "Calçots" grilled spring onions!
