Today, the place you are travelling with Yuga is Mount Fuji~

Also known as the "Inexhaustible God" and referred to as the "Mountain of Worship," it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2013.

Mount Fuji, with its repeated volcanic eruptions, has been revered as a sacred mountain where gods reside, and its magnificent conical shape has inspired various forms of art.

It is said that a replica of Katsushika Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa," one of the prints from his series "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji," was displayed in Debussy's room. The allure of Mount Fuji captivates everyone in the same way!

The "Oshino Hakkai" is a group of eight spring-fed ponds that derive their source water from the underground streams of Mount Fuji. It is recognized as a component of the World Heritage site of Mount Fuji.

BTW, Yuga has actually attempted to climb Mount Fuji three times! The first and third attempts were successful, but the second attempt had to be abandoned due to extremely strong winds and rain. On the day before the climb, we stayed at a lodging near the fifth station of Mount Fuji and departed at 3 a.m. This way, we were able to enjoy ourr own world without dealing with crowds. We encountered no one until around the seventh station and experienced the beautiful sunrise.

The third attempt was so incredibly amazing that we decided to stop there because nothing could surpass that level of awe-inspiring experience! It remains deeply etched in our memories as a lasting impression.
