18.ケルン大聖堂／ドイツ
今日、ゆーがと旅するところは、ドイツにあるケルン大聖堂 です～ （1996年世界遺産登録）
人口100万人を超える大都市ケルンの中心部にあるケルン大聖堂。
なんと13世紀に工事が始まったのですが、資金不足のため完成まで６32年もかかりました！
高さ157m、奥行き114m、幅86mもあり、40階のビルに匹敵！
ゴシック様式の建築物の中では世界最大級です。
東方三博士の遺骨を納めるにふさわしい大聖堂として始まり、工事中断中も、多くの信者がお祈りに来ていました。
見どころは、なんといっても、外観の重厚な姿で、細部にまで見事な装飾が施されている点です。
Located in the heart of Cologne, a major city with a population of over one million, is Cologne Cathedral. Construction of this remarkable cathedral began in the 13th century, and due to a lack of funds, it took a staggering 632 years to complete!
With a height of 157 meters, a depth of 114 meters, and a width of 86 meters, it's equivalent to a 40-story building!
It is the largest Gothic-style structure in the world.
Originally built as a grand cathedral worthy of housing the relics of the Three Wise Men from the East, even during the construction hiatus, many believers came to pray.
The main highlight is undoubtedly its impressive exterior, with intricate and exquisite decorations adorning every detail.
